Broome Community College holds a ceremony to help people cope, and to remember those who lost their lives in the tragedy.
Students, faculty and staff packed BCC's West Gym for this Remembrance Service.
Professors spoke about the need to establish closure, and get past last week's horrific event.
Students are still trying to comprehend the senseless act of violence.
A musical group sang 'Amazing Grace' and 'America the Beautiful' during the service.
Attendees were also welcome to stay after the event, and discuss the tragedy among one another.
