Five of the victims of the ACA shooting have ties to Binghamton University.

Tonight, a candle light vigil was held on campus.

Fourteen candles were lit to signify each victim of last Friday's attack at the American Civic Association.

Although Binghamton University is on spring break this week.

Many students and faculty came to show compassion for the victims, and their families.

"We want to get together to show that we care and we're suffering and we're trying to be strong to build this community back again," said Chen Ge.

Binghamton University will also hold a memorial service next week, honoring the shooting victims.

It's next Tuesday at 4:30pm, in the Grand Corridor of the Fine Arts Building on campus.

President Lois DeFleur says people will be able to express their condolences in writing, which will be included in a memorial book.

The service will end with the placing of flowers in the Memorial Courtyard.

Again that's next Tuesday, April 14th, at 4:30.
