35 hundred dollars.

That's how much viewers like you helped raise today for families and victims of the American Civic Association Shooting.

Action News opened its phone bank today, and teamed up with Catholic Charities of Broome County to raise money for the ACA Victims Donation Fund.

Money raised helps with everything from bringing in relatives from overseas and funeral arrangements, to clothing and transportation needs.

"We can't bring back the lives, we can't take this memory away from them but we can help them with just making their life a little bit easier by providing them with what they need," said Kathy Pfaffenbach.

We want to thank everyone who called in and donated today.

You can also send a check directly to Catholic Charities to help.

You can make checks out to "Catholic Charities", and be sure to include "Civic Association" in the memo line so they know where to direct your contribution.

Send it to Catholic Charities, Attention Marsha Maroney, 232 Main Street, Binghamton, 13905.

Type "Civic Association" in the memo box.

The Broome County Council of Churches is looking for monetary donations to help families cover funeral expenses, emergency food and medical bills.

You can make a check out to "Broome County Council of Churches" and put "ACA victims in the memo line.

The donation can be mailed to the Broome County Council of Churches, 3 Otseningo Street, Binghamton New York, 13903.

And, the Islamic Organization of the Southern Tier has set up a fund to help the 13 families.

You can sent a check to the Islamic Organization of the Southern Tier at 161 Grand Avenue, Johnson City, New York 13790.

Just put Victim's Assistance Fund on the memo line of your check.

If you include a return address, a tax deductible receipt will be sent to you.

The United Way of Broome County is taking donations to help victims and families cover any needs beyond what local, state and federal programs provide.

Mail Checks to United Way of Broome County.

PO Box 550, Binghamton 13902.

In the memo line, write "American Civic Association Fund."

Contributions can also be made in person at any Citizens Bank in Broome County.
