According to The Birmingham News, a 55--year-old Alabama man was charged with felony third-degree assault for allegedly punching an umpire after his granddaughter's softball game last week.
The victim told police the suspect was upset with his calls in the game and punched him in the nose after the game, according to The Birmingham News report.
