Mother Arrested for Leaving Young Children Home Alone While Visiting Boyfriend, Police Say

According to a report from the Daytona Beach News-Journal, a 23-year-old Florida woman has been arrested and charged with child neglect for allegedly leaving a pair of young children home alone while she went to visit her boyfriend late last week.

A neighbor heard one of the children crying and called authorities, according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal report.
