Boyfriend Accused of Confining, Strangulating Girlfriend Over Span of Three Days

A shocking story out of Indiana, according to Granite Broadcasting sister station Indiana's NewsCenter.

According to the report from Indiana's NewsCenter:

Kosciusko (Ind.) County Sheriff’s Department officers responded to a residence in Leesburg, Ind., on Friday night in regards to a welfare check on the female neighbor.

When police arrived, the victim and her 37-year-old  boyfriend exited the home. Officers said the alleged victim was very disoriented with noticeable bruises covering her face and neck.

The woman told deputies that she had been confined in the house for almost three days and had allegedly struck her several times as well as strangled her to the point where she almost lost consciousness.

The man was jailed and preliminarily charged with battery resulting in bodily injury, criminal confinement, and strangulation.
