Suspect Shoots Self During Home Invasion Robbery, Police Say

A strange story from Florida earlier this month.

According to a news release from the Tampa (Fla.) Police Department, a suspect reportedly shot himself during a home invasion robbery in Tampa on Oct. 6.  The man was transported to a hospital in critical condition, according to the news release. He is facing charges of armed home invasion, armed robbery and armed burglary, according to police.
