Bus Driver Accused of Hitting 5-Year-Old Student in the Face

A shocking story from Indiana, courtesy of Granite Broadcasting sister station Indiana's NewsCenter in Fort Wayne, Ind.

According to the report from Indiana's NewsCenter:

A Fort Wayne (Ind.) Community School bus driver is being accused of hitting a 5-year old student in the face this week.

According to the Fort Wayne Police report, the parents of the 5-year old boy called police about an incident that took place on the school bus on Monday.

The mother says when the bus got to her house, her husband went out to the driver and the driver said there was an incident where his child was sitting with his feet in the aisle and kicking,

The dad says the bus driver told him that he stopped the bus, wend back to correct the child and - quote - 'he may have hit him' - unquote.

The school was contacted, a tape from the bus was reviewed and the driver was suspended indefinitely based on what was seen on the tape.
