A plea deal for a former New Jersey high school teacher accused of having sex with a student.
According to a report from the Newark Star-Ledger, the 33-year-old woman, who was a former county teacher of the year, admitted this week to having sex with a 15-year-old student as part of a plea agreement.
The woman is not allowed to teach again under the terms of the plea agreement and must register as a sex offender, according to the Newark Star-Ledger report.
