Man killed in machete attack on London street; terror attack suspected

A shocking scene on a London street on Wednesday.

One man was killed in a machete attack authorities are calling a suspected terror incident and his alleged attackers were shot by police, according to BBC News.

According to the BBC report:

The government is reported to be treating the assault as a suspected terrorist incident and the prime minister said it was "truly shocking".

Footage has emerged showing a man wielding a bloodied meat cleaver and making political statements.

(Local police) said the dead man was a soldier at Woolwich barracks but this has not been confirmed.
