Windsor Central School district held a grand opening of the Blue Stone Cafe this morning.
the cafe is located in the library of the highschool and is run strictly but student volunteers.
Artwork and design plans were created by technology and art students.
local area donors provided materials and labor to complete the cafe included Tompkins Bluestone Inc. which provided the blue stone flooring.
The Cafe gives the students a real taste of a college campus.
"The comment that has been made to me a number of times by students is that it is more like a college campus, they really feel like they're being treated as responsible adults. we've been really really pleased with the reception of the students." said Jason Andrews Windsor Superintendent.
The staff is provided strictly but student volunteers.
The revenue will be for business operations and fund academic scholarships.
