Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Broome County announces they are looking to applaud local organizations for going green.
Legislature Chairman Daniel Reynolds says the county is accepting applications for its third annual Green Initiative Recognition Program.
The program recognizes organizations that go above and beyond working to improve our environment.
This year's recipients will have a tree planted in a Broome County park in their honor.
Nomination forms are available on the County Legislature's webpage at www.gobroomecounty.com
All nominations are due by April 2nd.
