SUNY's chancellor wants the state university system to foster the creation of jobs for its graduates to fill.
Nancy Zimpher is set to release her Strategic Plan for 2010 & Beyond Tuesday.
It includes plans to support teacher education to prepare students before they reach SUNY. Then it would integrate college academics with entrepreneurs who create jobs.
She also calls for new programs that would connect the 64 campuses.
