A real treat: Man finds $4.85 million winning lottery ticket in cookie jar

An Illinois man got a real treat from his cookie jar earlier this month -- in the form of a $4.85 million winning lottery ticket.

According to a report from the Chicago Tribune, a man from Geneva, Ill, found a winning lottery ticket -- worth $4.85 million -- along with other lottery tickets in a cookie jar at his home while cleaning the kitchen.  The man said his family was facing eviction and that he plans to use the winnings to pay off his home, according to the Chicago Tribune report.

"It couldn't have happened at a better time," Ricardo Cerezo told the Chicago Tribune. "I just thought, this is how God works."
