A crash in Tioga County, Pennsylvania sends five people to the hospital.

Pennsylvania State Police say it happened around 12:30am Thursday, August 26 on State Route 15 in Lawrenceville Boro, right at the state line.

A pickup truck driven by 26-year-old Stacey Tanner was traveling north in the southbound lane and hit a minivan head-on, severely damaging both vehicles.

The driver of the minivan, 65-year-old Mahmoud Gaballa had two passengers. There was one passenger in Tanner's vehicle.

All five were taken by ambulance to Corning Hospital, and have been treated and released. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

State Police say alcohol was a factor in the crash, and charges are pending.
