(WBNG Binghamton) Diane DiStefano, Democratic Candidate for Chenago County Judge, announced she has received the endorsement of Irene Stein, Chairwoman of the Tompkins County Democratic Committee.
According to a news release:
“It is always flattering to receive the support of one of the Southern Tier’s strong leaders,” said DiStefano, “Chairwoman Stein is a strong advocate for our working families and I am proud to consider her a friend.”
Stein, who also serves as chair of the New York State Democratic Rural Conference, a member of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Advisory Committee on Aging, and is a former Member of the Democratic National Committee, has led the Tompkins County Democrats since March, 2011.
“I am always pleased to support such a strong and qualified judicial candidate as Diane DiStefano,” said Irene Stein, Chairwoman of the Tompkins County Democratic Committee, “Diane has been a lifelong advocate for justice.
