Film critic Roger Ebert dies at age 70

Renowned film critic Roger Ebert died Thursday following a long battle with cancer, according to his longtime employer, the Chicago Sun-Times. He was 70.

Ebert worked for the Sun Times for 46 years and also gained fame reviewing movies on television. He had been battling cancer of the salivary gland and thyroid, according to the Chicago Sun-Times report.
