(WBNG Binghamton) "Gasland" does not win the award for Best Documentary Film at the Oscars on Sunday night.
"Inside Job" took home the Oscar for Best Documentary Film.
Documentary film maker Josh Fox was nominated for his documentary "Gasland."
Fox tells his perspective on natural gas development with a particular focus on Dimock Township in Susquehanna County.
Supporters of responsible natural gas extraction say the film unfairly portrays the practice and only gives one perspective on the story.
Fox is a resident of Damascus Township, Wayne County.
The winner was "Inside Job"
Gasland did NOT win the Oscar.
