The 9th annual Jim "Mudcat" Grant All-Star Golf Tournament swung into gear today.

32 celebrity athletes hit the greens at the Links at Hiawatha. 28 of them are professional golfers.

Along with 5 legendary African American Major League Baseball pitchers from the "Black Aces."

Former New York Yankee Ross Moschitto has hit the links since the event began 9 years ago.

"I don't know any of these people, but a lot of the time you'll come back over the years and get hooked up with the same groups, but the groups I played with last time aren't here. Different guys, but a great bunch of guys and a lot of fun. It's fun to do." said Ross Moschitto.

All proceeds from the tournament benefit local organizations.
Like Catholic Charities and its Community Hunger Outreach Program.

Along with the Boys and Girls Club of Binghamton and the Broome County Urban League.
