CDC: Lyme disease rates on the rise

(CBS News) Lyme disease is on the rise and will only get worse, according to the CDC.

Last summer, the CDC said 300,000 people get infected with Lyme disease each year, which is 10 times the number previously reported.

With ticks being most prevalent in Northeastern U.S., especially during the summer months, the CDC reports on ways to protect yourself from Lyme disease and what to do if you think you have it.
