Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The 12th annual Blues on the Bridge festival was bringing the funk today on the Washington Street Bridge.
Last year the event had to be delayed 3 weeks due to the flood.
This year, they're happy to relax and listen to some blues with much better weather.
"It's getting bigger and bigger every year. What we're trying to do is showcase live local, and regional music. And it's become a really big event," said event organizer Don Wilkins.
Last year, there was no power on the Washington Street bridge, so they had to hook up a generator.
It was crude, but as they say, the show must go on.
Organizers of Blues on the Bridge hope to keep the annual festival going for years to come.
