Arrest warrant turns up meth lab

Elmira, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Chemung County Sheriff deputies discovered a meth lab while executing an arrest warrant.

Just before 7 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to 1010 North Main Street in Elmira to execute a Superior Court warrant.

While there, they noticed a strong odor and discovered a meth lab.

Deputies arrested Jason M. Harvey, 26, Elmira.

Harvey has been charged with unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine in the third degree.

Deputies also arrested Joli A. Milks, 31, Elmira, who was wanted on the Superior Court warrant for probation violation.

Harvey was sent to the Chemung County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.

Milks was sent with no bail pending a future court appearance.

New York State Police CCERT, SORT and the Elmira Police Department assisted at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
