Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Union-Endicott High School seniors became graduates at the Veterans Memorial Area Saturday morning.

Hundreds of families packed into the arena to celebrate, as the seniors received their long awaited diplomas.

Students from the graduating class gave speeches and sang songs.

U-E Principal Steve DiStefano said watching these kids grow over the past four years has been a great honor.

"It was my first year at Union-Endicott High School four years ago, so I came in with them as they were freshman. Now four years later, it's...I feel a great deal of joy and pride to see them graduate after four years. It's a wonderful feeling," said DiStefano.

A total of 348 student graduated from U-E this year.
