(WBNG Binghamton) The Kopernik Observatory and Science Center will kick off it's 30th Annual AstroFest this weekend. The festival is a four day celebration of astronomy. Roy Williams was in the studio to talk about it.
The festival Astronomy Festival, also called, "AstroFest" runs this Thursday to Sunday at 698 Underwood Road in Vestal.
There will be guest speakers, demonstrations, and workshops.
There will also be opportunities to observe the sky both during day and night.
The festival will run from 3 p.m. To 9 p.m. Thursday, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission is $10 a day and KOSC members are free on Friday.
