Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) BOCES students are gearing themselves up with knowledge to prepare for a future job fair.

A representative from the Raymond Corporation visited the school this week to talk to students about preparing for the workforce.

The group covered topics of resumes and proper interview attire.

The motto of presentation was that you only have one shot to make a good first impression.

For some students, reviewing these topics eases their minds as they prepare for the job fair.

"When I go in and I'm not a nervous wreck and I know that this is going to be an opportunity to practice for the future and so I won't stumble over my words," Jillian Slusarski said.

The job fair will take place at BOCES in the gymnasium, with up to 60 companies in attendance.
