Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Police Department and the Binghamton Fire Department squared off to help a brother battling terminal cancer.

The two local agencies hit the court at St. Patrick's Church Saturday evening for a game where the score didn't matter.

All proceeds from the event will go to Dave Clark, a brother of a Binghamton Police Officer.

Clark is battling terminal cancer.

"From what I've heard, he has been battling cancer for approximately four years now," said Patrick Mcmanus, a Binghamton firefighter. "This year we decided a fellow officer needs the community's help."

The departments play a charity game every year to help a community member in need.

It cost $5 to watch the game. More than 100 people turned out to cheer on the teams and support Clark.
