Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Five new restaurants and their unique flavors have been added to this year's Binghamton Restaurant Week.

20 different restaurants are signed up for the 6th seasonal restaurant week, making it the largest Binghamton Restaurant Week event in its history.

The week will begin next Tuesday, September 18th and run through September 27.

Restaurant Week offers low cost, three-course meal options throughout the ten day event.

Participants can create their own menu and choose to have the specials for lunch, dinner, or both.

"We have 13 restaurants participating this time that are less than five years old, so it kind of shows the growth of the restaurant industry in downtown Binghamton," said Restaurant Week Organizer Piero Lisio.

This restaurant week's proceeds go to benefit C.H.O.W. (Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse).

The five new restaurants to join the event are Café 46 West, Gallagher's Irish Pub, House of Reardon, Thai Time, and Water Street Brewing Company.

"We're excited to participate in this, and it's an opportunity to help not only a local charity but you're local businesses," said Michele Bleichert, Co-owner of Water Street Brewing Company.
