Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Boston communities, and communities around the world, are sending their support to Boston.

Southern Tier residents are no different.

"The situation in Boston, at least from my perspective, being remote from it and seeing it on television, it was phenomenal the way they all came together, worked together, and for one purpose," Dick Dodge said.

"I think it's a relief to the people of Boston and the towns that were on lockdown for so long," Michelle Haus said. "People can come out of their homes. I bet that was stressful."

After a week of terror, and several lockdowns, CBS News reports people in Boston are back out, enjoying the city.
