New Berlin, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The body found Tuesday in the town of Pharsalia has been identified as 36-year-old Jennifer Ramsaran, according to her husband Ganesh "Remy" Ramsaran.

Remy Ramsaran said he received a phone call from the Chenango County Sheriff's office this afternoon informing him that the body was his missing wife.

According to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office report released Wednesday, the body was found off Center Road in the Town of Pharsalia.

The medical examiner assigned to the case said Ramsaran was found naked, and that it appeared her body had rolled down a small embankment on private property off Center Road.

The medical examiner said there were no visible signs of trauma, and there were no personal belongings found near the body.

Her body was found approximately 10 feet off the road. It was likely the body was covered in snow, then buried by a passing plow this winter. When the snow began to melt, her body came into view.

The sheriff's office declined to comment on those details.

The body was sent to Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office in Syracuse for an autopsy. There, it will be determined how she died.

Her husband, Ganesh "Remy" Ramsaran, told Action News that authorities came to his house on Tuesday night and asked for Jennifer's dental records and other medical information from a surgery she once had. Those records will be taken to the medical examiner.

Jennifer Ramsaran has been missing since she left on a shopping trip Dec. 11, 2012, en route to Destiny USA in Syracuse.
