Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Rotarians learn how to put books in the hands of children around the world.

Books for the World has spent the last four years sending lightly used books to children in third world countries, particularly in Southern Africa and the Middle East.

The books are being collected, packaged, shipped and distributed all by Rotarians, both across the country and around the world.

Not only does this program keep books out of landfills and in children's hands, but the shipping containers used are also recycled to become libraries and distribution centers.
