Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Hundreds of future brides gathered at the Riverwalk Hotel and Conference Center in Downtown Binghamton to participate in this years bridal show.

Imagine being able to talk to everyone associated with your wedding in one day and one place. This includes the bakers, the photographers, and the Dj's. That's exactly what some future brides got to do on Sunday.

"You can talk to 70, 75 vendors in a day instead of taking months and months to do it," said event coordinator Kathleen Kilmer.

It's a system that works for Krisha Ketcham. For her it makes the daunting task of planning a wedding easier.

"Much easier. I got a lot of fantastic ideas. I also met my DJ here so I got him all settled," Ketcham said.

The bridal show was also where she met the photographer she'll hire for her wedding in August.

"The show is a great networking opportunity. It's a great experience for me to meet future brides. I've been coming to the show now for a couple of years. And as a new business owner it does work out well," said Kristy Husband who operates Kristy's Imagination Photography.

Ketcham was able to talk to dozens of photographers at the show, but chose Husband because of her ideas. Ideas that Ketcham loved because of their originality.

"She pin-pointed the flower girl. And that's my whole thing I have a huge bridal party. And you don't really get a lot of focus on the flower girl. So she really picked that out," Ketcham said.

Ketcham's fiance Anthony is totally fine with having a little less work to do to make their wedding happen.

"It definitely gives us an opportunity to meet the vendors and get to know them. You know, face time verses having to call them up and going out to see them all the time," Simon said.

Shows like this mean a faster, more convenient wedding in a world where everyone wants things right away.

Over 1,000 people and 70 vendors participated in the bridal show.
