Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The 51st annual July Fest is gearing up for the three-day weekend.

It kicks off with the Brown Bag Lunch Series at noon Friday and runs through the weekend.

There will be more than 80 arts, crafts and food vendors lining Court Street.

Fourteen different musical acts ranging from jazz, blues, pop and R&B will entertain the crowds.

This year, July Fest is even joining the world of social media and modern technology to get the word out.

"The nice thing about the mobile app and the website, there are links there that you can actually click on the links and go to to different musicians web pages and listen to the music you'll hear this weekend," said musical coordinator Michael Carbone.
