Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church is celebrating their Carpathian Festival on Sunday.

The festival will be filled with lots of traditional Slavic foods on the menu such as pirohis, holubki and other baked delicacies.

Along with the delicious food there will be a live band, Carpathian style dancers, games and raffles.

Father Jim Dutko has been the Priest of St. Michael's for 21 years and can't wait to see old friends.

"It's like homecoming in the fall. You come here and a lot of people that used to live in the ward and live in the neighborhood come back to this region and come back to the hall. So you get to see a lot of people, that's the best thing of all," said Father Dutko.

"We support charities. We support an orphanage in Slovakia, and also the St. Michael's Fund here. So we make good use of the funds that we get," said Claudia Rogers.

You can pre-order pirohi and holubki now for their take out sale on Saturday.
