Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) With the school year nearing its end, one elementary school held its annual night of celebration.

The 21st annual Arts Night was held at Roosevelt Elementary in Binghamton.

The event features art work completed by every student in the school, along with music and performances throughout the evening.

For Principal David Chilson, it's the students' and staff's night to shine and show off their hard work.

"This is like our most proud event of the school year. It's great to see the families out. We have pizza and refreshments for sale. It is just great to see everybody, and it's a time to visit and get to know people," said Chilson.

All proceeds support the arts activities throughout the school year, which included purple T-shirts the school was selling.

Each year there is a different colored shirt for the festive occasion.
