Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Local softball teams held a fundraiser for the son of fallen Johnson City Police Officer David Smith.

The Northeast Revenge Travel Team held a Flapjack Fundraiser to benefit young Andrew Smith.

The breakfast was held early Sunday morning, from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. The breakfast included a traditional spread of eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes for $6.

All the money raised goes directly to Andrew Smith's trust fund.

Rick Varva, one of the coaches of the softball team, was a close family friend and said, "I thought it would be nice for us to help out any way we could."

Although the fundraiser is over, "You can still donate," Varva added.

Varva said Andrew's Trust Fund is at Visions Credit Union on Main street. He said you can simply stop by or call to place money in Andrew's Fund. Varva said the fund is under the name of Andrew's Father.
