Binghamton (WBNG Binghamton) Police are looking for those responsible for spray-painting graffiti on the Washington Street Bridge and a war monument in downtown Binghamton.

Binghamton police are offering a $500 reward to anyone who can provide information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the people responsible.

In addition to the bridge, vandals struck the Skirmisher monument and walls along the river walk in Confluence Park.

The Skirmisher monument honors soldiers who fought in the Spanish-American War.

The graffiti consists of profanities and racial and sexist slurs.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Binghamton Police Detective Bureau at (607) 772-7080.
