Binghamton, NY(WBNG Binghamton) It wasn't his first time running for Town of Union Supervisor, but will it be his last?

After losing to Rose Sotak, Jack Cheevers wasn't willing to answer that question.

Cheevers has been in the Town of Union Supervisor seat before.

He has spent a total of eight years in the seat, starting in the 1970's and lasting through the 2000's.

Cheevers still sticks with his guns and says he doesn't like what he sees going on in the town.

"Like I've said before, I don't do this as a job. I've been in the seat before and I don't like what I've been seeing. I have a business to go back to," says Cheevers.

The race results are still unofficial, but now say that Rose Sotak won with 51 percent to Cheevers 49 percent.
