Mayville, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) A man accused of killing a former Chenango County principal in 2012 has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.

Anthony Taglianetti was convicted of second-degree murder in the death of Keith Reed Jr., a former principal of the Sherburne-Earlville High School.

A jury found Taglianetti guilty in November 2013.

Reed was shot three times and was found dead outside his home in Chautauqua County.

Reed's blood was found on the gun, which was found in Taglianetti's car.

It's believed Taglianetti shot Reed over an alleged online love affair with his estranged wife.
