Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton will welcome for the 52nd year, July Fest, which will feature local musicians and crafters, along with a variety of food vendors.

The annual midsummer festival will take place in downtown Binghamton beginning on Friday, July 11th and continuing through Sunday, July 13th.

The festival will include music from "Splash" and other artists on the M&T Bank Sound Stage, and also include the Binghamton Music and Jazz Festival which will be on Saturday and Sunday.

The 7th Annual Parlor City 5K run will take place on Saturday morning, and children of all ages will be able to work with Jen O'Brien from the Magic Paint Brush Project to create art work and get their face painted during the entire festival.

Binghamton Mayor Rich David spoke about his passion for the festival.

"It's something that has grown on a regular basis, it's something that has a very positive impact on downtown Binghamton," David said, "And it really gives an opportunity for the city to highlight the growing downtown community."

The festival this summer is to add more than 35 craft vendors, 10 food vendors, and 30 Artists in Action with the support of M&T Bank and other community partners.
