Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Well it's happened many times before, but Tom Libous has been elected for the New York State 52nd seat again.

It's win number 13 for Libous.

The Senator will have been serving for over a quarter century after this next term.

"It feels good. It's win number 13 and I'm completing 24 years. I'll be honored to start my 25th year I want to say thank you to the voters in Broome, Tioga and Chenango counties and now Delaware who had the confidence in me. I will give it my all the next two years and do the best I can," said Libous.

Libous took his wife's advice of "break a leg" a bit literally, as he showed up on crutches nursing a broken foot, however he still managed to enjoy his victory celebration.
