Man accused of threats against schools, children

Wellsboro, PA (WBNG Binghamton) A man is arrested after posting various threats against schools and children via his Facebook account.

Pennsylvania State Police arrested Michael Paul Peditto, 25, of 224 Knowiton Rd., in Wellsboro, Pa.

He was picked up at approximately 3:30 p.m Friday.

Peditto posted threats, including: "I'm going to start terrorizing the human race on Facebook," according to state police.

"If the humans continue to ignore me here on Facebook, I'm going to have to go on and terrorize other things," he wrote. And, "I am going to shoot some people, I bought a gun today at Walmart." and "I want to kill honor students."

He was taken to Tioga County Jail where he remained Friday on $25,000 bail.


Three counts each of terroristic threats, a felony, and disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.
