Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Just 25 days until Christmas, one of Santa's helpers took a break and stopped by the Southern Tier.
His name is Rowdy. The 5-year-old made a trip to The Discovery Center in Binghamton.
He greeted curious and excited fans.
Rowdy wasn't just there for kids and adults to look at, he came with a story this holiday season.
"Rowdy's story is that he is one of Santa's reindeer that is supposed to be pulling the sleigh next to Rudolph, but he gets a little rambunctious and doesn't always listen," said Jordan Patch, owner of Animal Adventure. "So, Santa send him down with us to learn the rules and to teach kids to make good decisions. Then someday Santa will bring him back up once he proves himself that he can work next to Rudolph."
Rowdy will be making stops all around the Southern Tier this weekend.
