Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Broome County Sheriff's Office arrested a local woman after they say she let her 12-year-old daughter drive her car.

The girl crashed in a parking lot, injuring herself and two other juveniles.

The sheriff's office said the accident happened Friday in the parking lot of the old Heritage Country Club in the town of Union.

According to deputies, Michelle Lynn Hill, 37, of the town of Union, let her daughter drive the car.

The daughter got behind the wheel, and two other 13-year-olds also got in the car.

According to deputies, the daughter lost control, struck an embankment and the car rolled two times.

All three were slightly injured and taken to Wilson Hospital.

Deputies said Lynn was standing in the parking lot when it happened.

The sheriff's office said Lynn told them she was showing the teens the safety features on the car before the accident.

Lynn has been charged with three counts of reckless endangerment in the first degree, a class D felony. She was arraigned in the Town of Union Court.
