Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Fresh produce from local farms will now be available every Saturday in Binghamton.

34 vendors, from local farmers to artisans, set up tents Saturday morning for opening day at the Otsiningo Park Farmers Market.

The market is now open for the season and will be at the park every Saturday, rain or shine, until the last week of October.

The market hours are 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

This year, the Farmer's Market managers have added a children's program.

Kids can take home an activity each week and bring the completed activity back the next week. After a full season of completed, farming-related activities the kids will receive a 'Future Farmer's Diploma.'

Sign-ups for this children's program will begin on May 10.
