Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Amidst a sea of campers inside the Events Center at Binghamton University, kids darted in and out of new models.
"We're searching for a new camper," 5-year-old Anthony Mazzeo said.
It's not the first time Anthony and his family have perused what's available at the Binghamton Camper and RV Show.
"We come to the RV show every year," his mom, Ramona Mazzeo, said.
The Mazzeos are on a mission to find a new ride, specifically with bunk beds since their kids are getting bigger.
"I really want a camper with more space," third-grader Lee Mazzeo said.
More space means more memories. The family uses their RV nearly every weekend in the summer.
"We've been going to Delaware Seashore State Park, we camp right on the beach at least once a year," dad Anthony Mazzeo said. "You can walk right to the beach, you can see fireworks on the beach, it's really nice."
That enthusiasm is what fuels the C. Neer RV business out of Equinunk, Pa.
"It's all about family, and that's one of the reasons why we enjoy what we're doing," Audrey Neer said.
Neer has been in the business for 12 years. She owns C. Neer RV with her husband, who she's been married to for 27 years.
They have special memories of their own from RV trips with their two kids.
"My daughter just graduated from college and the very first thing she wants to do is go back to Disney, camping."
One of her top-selling RVs this year is called the Goldrush Durango, a fifth wheel.
Neers expects sales to be very good this year; the colder the winter, the better the sales, she says.
"They're (customers) picking out colors, they're picking out floor plans, and doing shows like this is what gets them all excited because the snow is melting, so they're getting that itch."
The Mazzeos are excited for all of the snow to melt.
"I want summer to come," little Anthony Mazzeo said.
They are already planning their first trip, and the show gives them a taste of what they may be driving in.
The Binghamton RV and Camper Show continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
