Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) New renovations were unveiled at Johnson City's Red Roof Inn on Tuesday.

A $1-million investment to make the 23-year-old building more appealing to the traveling business man or woman.

The Red Roof has spent the last five months renovating the lobby.

All 107 guest rooms now have a comfortable bed, and a setting where business travelers can do work.

There are technological parks as well.

"We added some additional phone jacks and things for their gadgets so it's more high tech and savvy for those sorts of travelers and, you know, just to make it a little newer," said General Manager Marcy Nelson.

The changes come from customer feedback.

You're invited to check out the new accommodations.

The Red Roof is offering deals through the end of June.
