Sayre, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Gluten-free foods were the only items on the menu at a food expo in Sayre Sunday.

Vendors crowded Cafe Too for the fourth annual Twin Tiers Gluten-Free Product Expo.

More than 100 people showed up to taste the latest products on the market.

An expo coordinator said local businesses have stepped up to meet the rising demands for gluten-free needs in the local area.

"Eight years ago, there was hardly anything on the store shelf, and today you can buy even Betty Crocker mixes that are gluten free," said Donna Yale, a coordinator. "So there's a lot more on the shelf. But there's also a lot more specialty little bakeries or cafes like this one."

Yale said at least six local farmers have jumped on the trend and cater to the gluten-free community.

Engelbert farms was a vendor at the expo and owners said they were ahead of the trend.

They said they've been a certified organic farm that's naturally gluten-free since 1984.
