$100K worth of marijuana found in Sherburne home

Sherburne, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A Sherburne man is arrested after police found nearly 100 pounds of marijuana at his home.

On Thursday, Chenango County Sheriffs deputies executed a no-knock search warrant at Pleasant Valley Road.

They arrested Robert Reynolds, 52, after finding 100 pounds of marijuana worth about $100,000 in street value, and $36,000 in cash.

Authorities also seized approximately $20,000 in personal property they say were proceeds from Reynolds' drug trade.

Deputies also found drug paraphernalia, including several scales, packaging material and more. Officials also found Oxycodone.

The raid followed a lengthy investigation into the sale of marijuana from Reynolds' home.

Reynolds is charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana in the first degree, felony criminal possession of controlled substance in the third degree and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.

Reynolds was arraigned in Town of North Norwich Court and was taken to the Chenango County jail on $50,000 bail.
