Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Union-Endicott High School Chorus is working hard towards its Christmas Concert, and with a few unexpected guests.

The Choral has been working on a piece called 'Wonderful Peace.'

It's a Swedish Christmas song. The school recruited two Binghamton Senators player, Mika Zibanejad and Frederik Claesson to help with the translations.

"It was pretty interesting. Everyone thought it was weird BSen's and why would they teach us about singing? It's for the words," said UE Senior, Amy Gonzales.

"They're helping us learn how to pronounce all of the Swedish words so we can sing them," said UE Junior Jennifer Amend.

The most difficult part for students was taking the translation and then putting it into tune.

"They haven't been working on this for too long. Too make it sound that good in such a short time. They're doing good," Said BSens player, Mika Zibanejad.

Students also spoke with the players about what sports and a high school choir have in common.

"I think with both you have to work together in order to be successful and I like what we're doing here at UE because there are a lot of stereotypes with music kids and sports kids, so I think it's nice to bring both together," said Amend.

The BSens agree, and by the end of the class the students were able to proved it.

They were able to sing the song in Swedish back to the players.
