Gun store burglary suspect ID'd (photos)

Norwich, NY (WBNG Binghamton) New York State Police have identified a suspect in two separate burglaries where more than two dozen firearms were stolen.

State police are looking for Christopher M. Gonzalez, 29, who is wanted for questioning in reference to the crimes.

The firearms were stolen from Mayhood's Sporting Good's store on Route 12 during two burglaries within nine hours.

New York State Police said the first burglary happened Monday at approximately 9:52 p.m., and the second at approximately 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Troopers said 22 hand guns, several long guns and numerous boxes of ammunition were stolen.

Officials conducted a complete inventory of all the stolen property.

As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, when asked about whether Gonzalez's girlfriend or female associate was in custody, state police declined to answer, saying only they were still looking for Gonzalez
